You will be joining a development/ engineering team of 20+ Engineers
Description
We have 150+ employees spread across the world. The majority of them are located in the United States and a majority of the Dev Team is in Lithuania.
Your Team: you will be joining a development team of 20+ Engineers (17 of them are in Lithuania). Your team consists of 2 scrum masters, 1 release manager, 2 lead developers, 11 full-stack PHP developers, 2 senior Angular/ React frontend developers, 1 lead QA engineer, 5 QA engineers, and 4 Product Owners. As you see, the team is very structured and you don’t have to do QA stuff or focus on the FE part – everybody has their own area of expertise and yours would be PHP.
If you prefer a repetitive Groundhog Day lifestyle, being able to flip on your “robot mode” switch at work, then this is not the place for you. Every day is a little different for the engineer, and you’ll need to be agile and take things on as they come. Believe, You’ll love that!
We are looking for a mid or sr. PHP Engineer to build new applications, and help transition legacy applications to new apps & micro-services providing APIs. We hope that you have the ability to deliver compelling user experiences for internal stakeholders, clients, and the general public. The successful candidate will be an experienced developer who will help us in architecting, developing, and modernizing web-based applications; developing applications that use containers; and supporting large, complex, and strategically important enterprise programs.

Requirements
- Experience with modern frameworks (symfony5 and/or Laravel).
- Good/Advanced PHP 7.3^ experience.
- Good/Advanced DB experience (MySQL).
- Some Javascript experience would be nice to have (JQuery/Angular/Knockout/React).
- Experience with GIT or other version-control systems.
- Knowledge and Experience of CSS/HTML.
- Unit Testing.
- Experience with deployment and caching strategies.
- Good level of written and spoken English.
- Experience in being a hell of a teammate🙂
